Equally as comfortable doing the hands-on delivery as I am with formulating strategy and leading people and projects, my style is open, approachable, and friendly, whilst taking a considered, creative, and collaborative approach to all I do.
Passionate about sustainability leadership, I have a proven track record of bringing new thinking to leaders, proposing new ideas, and developing capabilities and strategies to empower and enable organisations to achieve goals, whilst having a positive impact.
I am delighted to have completed a four-month Sustainability Leadership Programme focused on creating and embedding sustainability transformation strategies within organisations. This executive leadership course addressed finance, strategy, and the importance of sustainability measurement and reporting to help organisations build lasting economic value whilst delivering positive environmental and social impact.
I was privileged to be part of the cohort of international leaders studying the Executive Management Programme at Henley Business School in 2019. This advanced management course focuses on leading in a VUCA world, one that is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. The course also incorporated a real-life consultancy assignment.
I was fortunate to attend a residential course at Sunningdale's National School of Government as part of my induction programme when joining the civil service in 2009. The school, which closed its doors in 2012, was established in 1970 as The Civil Service College and Centre for Management and Policy Studies.
I studied international business at the European School of Advanced Management in Paris for six months as part of the ERASMUS university exchange programme. Studies focussed on management and finance in a European and International context.
I graduated in Business Information Management with French from Leeds Beckett University. The four-year sandwich course focussed on business, marketing, communications, and information technology within a management context. Dissertation: Effective leadership in UK businesses over 100 years.
